UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Illicit trafficking of diamonds from Central African Republic into neighboring Cameroon is helping finance the continuation of a nearly three-year conflict, an expert panel that monitors U.N. sanctions said in a confidential report.

BANGUI (Reuters) - The transitional council in Central African Republic has adopted a constitution designed to form the base of a new government as the country attempts to turn a page on years of violence, government officials said on Monday.

N'DJAMENA (Reuters) - Chad, a leading country in a military task force against Boko Haram, has sentenced 10 members of the Islamist militants to death on terrorism charges, the chief prosecutor said on Friday.
