Britain to pull embassy staff out of Libya

TRIPOLI (Reuters) - Britain will close its embassy in Tripoli from Aug. 4, evacuating diplomatic staff to Tunisia, after fighting between rival armed factions spread in the Libyan capital, officials said.

Greece sends ships to Libya evacuate embassy, foreign nationals

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece is sending a frigate and two other vessels to Libya to evacuate workers at its embassy in Tripoli as well as a few hundred Chinese and European nationals, government officials said on Thursday.
