ROME (Reuters) - Italy called on Wednesday for urgent international action to halt Libya's slide into chaos and said it was ready to help monitor a ceasefire and train local armed forces.
TRIPOLI (Reuters) - Libya's National Oil Corporation urgently called on Saturday for more official protection for its installations after an oil pipeline from its El Sarir field was sabotaged, halting flow to Hariga port.
BANGUI (Reuters) - U.N. peacekeepers in Central African Republic used helicopters to bombard positions held by a rebel faction in a town northeast of the capital and six rebels died, the United Nations said.

TRIPOLI/BENGHAZI (Reuters) - Libya's warring factions will resume U.N.-sponsored talks on Tuesday inside the country to try to resolve a struggle between two governments and parliaments, officials from both sides said on Saturday.
