MISRATA, Libya (Reuters) - Libyan forces said they pushed forward on Tuesday into the last sliver of territory held by Islamic State in its former North African stronghold of Sirte, seizing a number of barricaded houses.

GENEVA (Reuters) - At least 365 migrants drowned in the past three days in the Mediterranean in six incidents, making this November already six more times more deadly than the same month a year ago, the International Organization for Migration said on Friday.

BENGHAZI, Libya (Reuters) - The dominant armed force in the east Libyan city of Benghazi said on Thursday it had taken control of one the last holdouts of Islamist-led militias, amid clashes in which at least 18 troops were killed, according to medical officials.
